Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to siouxfallsplumbingpros.com and to the referral service offered through it by Sioux Falls Plumbing Pros, operated by AuthenitcBrand, LLC ("we," "us"). By using the site or sending us a request, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be 18 or older

You must be at least 18 years old to send a request, to join our text-message program, or otherwise use the referral service.

What the service is

Sioux Falls Plumbing Pros is a referral and matching service. We publish information about plumbing emergencies, repairs, costs, permits and licensing in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area and, at your request, pass your details to an independent plumbing contractor that covers your area. We are not a plumbing contractor. We do not perform plumbing work, we do not employ or supervise the plumbers we refer you to, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with them. The price, scope, schedule, permits, workmanship, warranty, licensing, and insurance for any job are between you and the plumber you hire.

SMS program terms

Program description. When our request form is open, checking its consent box means you agree to receive text messages from Sioux Falls Plumbing Pros and from the independent plumber you are matched with about the request you submitted, such as a confirmation that we received it, which plumber will contact you, and follow-up about scheduling or a quote. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.

• Message frequency varies with your request, usually a few messages.
• Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
• To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts about that request.
• For help, reply HELP to any message or email privacy@siouxfallsplumbingpros.com.
• Consent is optional. You do not have to agree to receive texts to submit a request or to hire any plumber.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to be contacted

When you send a request, you ask us and the plumber we match you with to contact you about it at the phone number or email you provide, using the methods you agreed to. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, telling the caller, or contacting us.

Phone calls

Calls to a phone number on this site may be routed to us or to a matched plumber and may be logged or recorded as described in our Privacy Policy. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start.

Information on this site

Our guides are general information, not legal, engineering, or professional advice. Cost ranges are planning figures from dated, named national sources, not quotes. City codes, permit rules and state law change, and the City of Sioux Falls, your own city, the South Dakota State Plumbing Commission and the South Dakota courts have the final word on what applies to your property. The safety steps on this site (shutting off water, thawing a pipe) are general guidance; if you are unsure, stop and call a licensed plumber. Call 811 before any digging.

Independent contractors

We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, licensing, insurance, workmanship, or conduct of any plumber we refer you to or mention on this site. South Dakota requires a State Plumbing Commission license for plumbing work on a property connected to public water or sewer (SDCL 36-25-17), and the City of Sioux Falls requires its own plumber contractor license of contractors working in the city; neither is proof of liability insurance. Before you hire anyone, confirm the license, obtain the contractor's certificate of insurance and confirm it with the issuing agent, and get the scope and price in writing. No warranty and limitation of liability

The site and the referral service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from work performed, or not performed, by any contractor you hire, or from any action you take based on the guides on this site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false requests, requests on behalf of someone else without their permission, or content that is unlawful or abusive, and do not try to disrupt or scrape the site.

Content ownership

The guides, text, illustrations and design of this site belong to AuthenitcBrand, LLC. Any licensed photograph on the site is used under its stock licence and may not be reused. You may share links to our pages and quote short passages with attribution; please do not republish whole pages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last reviewed" date above shows the latest version; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
